Worship Services

9:01 AM – Contemporary Worship

In our Contemporary Worship Service, the use of contemporary music is combined with worship media and biblical preaching.  This service provides a casual atmosphere and is geared to invite those with desire for contemporary worship. Extensive use of the visual arts, as well as leadership from the Vocal Praise Team and Praise Band’s energetic guitars, drums, keyboards and other instruments, comprise the flavor of this worship service.

Sunday Small Groups

Classes meet on campus from 10:00-10:50. We offer classes for adults, children, middle and high school and young adults.

11:00 AM Traditional Worship

The Traditional Worship Service combines all of the elements of traditional Methodist worship, including, but not limited to, doxologies, scripture lessons, children’s moments, instrumental preludes and postludes on the two manuals, 33 rank pipe organ, liturgies and robust congregational singing of traditional hymns.  Biblical preaching and use of the Lectionary form the focus of this service.  The Adult Choir sings weekly, and additional musical enhancements make this well-attended service an inspirational worship experience at CUMC.

Children & Youth

At Crestwood UMC, we’re intentional about making God real and relevant in reaching every child, student and adult with God’s truth.

Our nursery has adult staff and volunteers who are dedicated to the safety and well being of our little ones in a fun-filled nursery. We follow Safe Sanctuaries policies at all times. The nursery is available for children up to 36 months during worship services, the Sunday School hour, Bible studies and other special events. A cry room with a rocking chair and toys is also available in the balcony of the sanctuary during all worship services.

Children’s Church is for children from Kindergarten up to 5th grade, during our 11:00 service. Children start out attending church service with the family and are invited to come to a brief Children’s Moment during a designated time of the service, in the front of the sanctuary. After that time the children will leave through the lobby The preschool age are taken to the Fellowship Hall for an age appropriate time of story and crafts while the older children journey to the Education Building attached to the fellowship hall and experience an age appropriate worship service filled with worship music and a lesson from our Children’s Minister. The children may be picked up from assigned locations after the church service. We have special Sunday School classes for children at 10:00.

Jr. & Sr. High School Youth join their families during service. The Jr. & Sr. High students also meet in the church basement for Sunday School.
