Business Administrator

20 hours per week starting at $20 per hour

Basic Responsibilities of the Position include but not limited to:

  • Facilitate handling of church finances
    • Generate Church Budget & Expense Reports
    • Manage Financial Contracts
    • Manage Financial Reports
    • Accounting: Revenue, Expenses, Investments
    • Attend Finance Meetings the Third Monday of Odd Months at 7:00pm
  • Work collaboratively with Trustees
    • Work with Maintenance Director and Trustees to maintain facilities and building improvements
    • Organize calendar for church resources.
      • Buildings, Rooms, Vehicles, and other church “property”
    • Coordinate cleaning responsibilities with Custodial Staff
    • Attend Trustees Meeting the second Monday of odd months at 7:00pm
  • Serve as a resource for Staff Parish Relations Committee
    • Input payroll information & manage staff benefits
    • Keep Track of PTO for all staff
    • Assist Staff Parish Relations with personnel documentation
  • Basic Hours
    • Monday-Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm (flexible)
    • Staff Meeting Tuesday from 10:30-12:00

Supervision:  Senior Pastor & Staff Parish Relations Committee

Communications & Office Administration

20 Hours a week starting at $20 Per Hour

Manage all church wide communications of Crestwood UMC and assist ministry leaders in communications with the church, volunteers, and community.  Oversee office reception, hours, supplies and volunteers.  Other communication and office duties as assigned by supervisor.

External & Outreach Communication

  • Social media: Facebook, X / Twitter, Instagram, etc
  • Church Website
  • Church digital sign

Internal Communication

  • Graphic design for church and ministry teams
  • Weekly Bulletin
  • Monthly Newsletter
  • Weekly e-mail communications with congregation
  • Distribute quarterly financial report.
  • Other communication updates as needed.
  • Ministry promotional graphics for social media, printed materials, church sign and projected graphics
  • Oversee internal social media groups.

Communication Resource

  • IT—Manage Microsoft Office and Outlook for church leadership.
  • Church Internet Capabilities
  • Assist ministry leaders in communicating for their ministry.

Office & Administrator

  • Organize and oversee office volunteers.
  • Facilitate office reception including answering phones and greeting guests
  • Be responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment.

Basic Hours:  Tuesday-Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm (flexible), Staff Meeting:  Tuesday, 10:30-12:00
