DESCRIPTION

Upward Basketball is a recreational and instructional league promoting character, self-esteem, and fellowship. Upward is open to ALL CHILDREN, regardless of skill or ability. The end of the season includes an awards ceremony and league award for each participant.

WHEN IS UPWARD?

Practices are held for 1 hour, one night per week (Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday).

Evaluation Dates:

November 2- 5:30-7:30PM

November 5 – 2:00-4:00PM

November 16 – 5:30-7:30PM

Coaches Meeting

November 19 – 7:30PM

Practice:

Practices begin November 27 from 5:00-8:00PM.

Practices are November 27-December 7 and January 8 – February 29.

No practices are held over Thanksgiving and Christmas Breaks. (Dec 11-Jan 3, 2024).

Games are on Saturdays from January 13 – March 2, 2024.

AGES

Upward is open to ALL CHILDREN, regardless of skill or ability.

Basketball:

• 1st Grade through 6th Grade

Cheer:

• Kindergarten through 6th Grade

COST

Basketball

$120 for one child, $100 for second, $85 for third and $75 for a fourth child.

Cheerleading

$100 for one child, $80 for second, $65 for third and $55 for a fourth child.

*Discount can be combined with Basketball and Cheerleading.

We want all children to be able to play!  If cost is an issue, please contact Pastor Kim about scholarships.
