Instrumental Performance Groups

Praise Band

The Praise Band accompanies contemporary Worship each Sunday.  The Praise Band rehearses with the Praise Vocal Team Monday evenings from 7:30-8:45.  We strive to allow everyone to make the most of their gifts and talents, which means that often, we come up with unique arrangements for songs and allow for team input!   Repertoire includes but is not limited to songs from such artists as David Crowder, Needtobreathe, Rend Collective Experience, Bethel Music, Hillsong Young and Free, Third Day, Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battestelli and Chris Tomlin.  We also utilize hymns in a more contemporary style and try to find meaningful worship songs that are perhaps lesser known, but cutting edge.

Sanctuary Carillons

There are Handbell opportunities for both Adults and Youth, and we are always glad to welcome new ringers.
Prior experience ringing handbells is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read music is a plus, but not required since ringers typically are only responsible for 2-3 bells for an entire piece.  We meet for practice Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 in the sanctuary.  Come give it a try!

Other Instrumentals

Church members with musical talent to share are encouraged to do just that - Share! We regularly have members playing instrumental pieces on their own, as  special music, or sometimes accompanying the choir, during our worship service. Let Valerie know if this is something you'd like to explore.
